Carpet Cleaning

Mission Floor Care offers the recommended method of carpet cleaning known as hot water extraction (HWE), Using a high powered truck mounted machine(AKA steam cleaning). The cleaning unit produces water temperatures above 240 degrees, and a very high vacuum level. The average drying time is three hours, but can be under one hour with the aid of drying fans. The high temperature along with our approved safe cleaning agents removes the most soil possible. Hot water extraction is the method recommended by carpet mills to keep their warranty in effect, cleaning is recommended every 6-12 months.

Carpet Cleaning Standards

We follow the IICRC guidelines for carpet cleaning and uphold the highest standards in carpet care. Our premium service includes, complete vacuuming (edges included), pretreatment of all carpet, agitation, followed by extraction with soft water rinse leaving carpet clean and soft.

Upholstery Cleaning

We offer upholstery cleaning with our truck mounted unit, a wet cleaning with a two hour dry time for most fabrics. We have been trained by the IICRC for upholstery cleaning. Our service includes fiber identification, Fiber test for possible color bleeding, vacuum, pretreatment, then soft water extraction with a rinse agent.

Tile & Grout Cleaning

We offer tile and grout cleaning, restoration, and sealing. We use a new tool that connects to our truck mounted cleaning unit, and cleans using hot water 240+ degrees under high pressure. There is no mess because the tool is enclosed and the water/steam is vacuumed out to our van. Most people say it is cleaner than when it was new. To keep it cleaner longer a sealer is applied to fill in the grouts rough surfaces making it easier to maintain.

Advance Spot Removal

Ever been told that a stain is permanent? I have found the right spotting agents and approach to aid in the moval of stains such as pet stains, coffee, tea, mustard, and Kool-Aid. I am confident to say that most staining can be removed if the amount of time is allowed. Not all stains can be removed.

Carpet Repair

We are on the cutting edge when it comes to carpet repairs. Every carpet type and situation takes a different approach, we have been trained by the IICRC to use the best techniques. Carpet Protection

We offer carpet protection on all carpet and upholstery that we clean. We offer 3m Scotchguard, and Dupont Teflon Advanced. Do I need carpet protector? Is a question that we hear a lot. When carpet is new it comes with carpet protector applied and over time it loses it effectiveness and should be restored after every cleaning. Some of the stains that we come across that have become permanent could have been avoided if the carpet was properly treated with protector. The function of carpet protector is to add more resistance to oil and water spills and protect the fibers from dry soil that leads to abrasion.
